Message First off, yes I street race, fine hate me for it...

About a year ago, I was sitting at a stoplight next to an SS Camaro. I looked over at him, but he never rev'ed his engine or anything so I figured the bastard didn't want to race.
Wrong!
The bastards why do they do that anyway? They're running scared so they just punch it as the light changes instead of letting you know it's coming.

Anyway, I launched after him and managed to pull up a little on him, but at the time I was bone stock and this guy had at least an exhaust, I wasn't pulling ahead, just hanging with my bumper at his door. Right as I shift to fourth though, the road bends sharply to the left. I was in the left lane, the road is angled wrong, and I didn't feel good about the turn. The SS was in the middle lane, and as I let off the gas, he stayed on the gass right into the turn...

and right up over the curb... and onto the sidewalk, and sparks went flying...

He pulled over at the next residential street to change tires, his right front was blown, bent rim yada yada.

I laughed my @$$ off at the time, but looking back at it...

What if someone would have been on the sidewalk he ran up onto?!?

I don't race nearly as much as I used to, far, FAR too many idiots.

For the Dallas people:
This was northbound on Midway, from the Frankford light.
(Headed towards F&H)
